GU20 bulb is using 63mm diameter cup (GU20) but has same base of GU10. Its numbers, in its title represent what's the difference between two pins. Therefore, with the base of a GU10 base, there's a gap of 10mm between the pins. Keep in mind that there's a difference in GZ10 and GU10! A GZ10 lamp is only compatible with the GZ10 fitting, whereas the GU10 that has a more round base, can be used in both. "U" stands for Universal "U" can be an abbreviation of "Universal".
