These work fantastic, I was of course a little nervous ordering something that came to $35 with shipping (if I ordered all 6 the small order charge wouldn't have applied, but as I said I was nervous) but they work better than I could have expected. The hard part was trying to figure out what wattage to buy to replace 50W halogens and these are actually a little brighter so I may try to find matching 3.5 or 4w for the other 4 bulbs I need to replace. Even at $17.50 each they are going in the kitchen where 4 hours use a day is not unusual so given a replacement halogen (that by the way didn't even last a year in the first place) would have been $5 I'll save the difference in less than 2 years not counting not having to replace another bulb - and if it really lasts 60,000 hours then it will outlast me.
